Privacy Policy – Warm, Plain-English Version

Hey there, pet parent! Here’s the no-jargon rundown on how we collect, protect, and use the info you share with us. If you ever want the super-legal version, just ping support@petdawnwellness.com and we’ll send it over.
  1. The short story
    We only grab the data we need to ship your supplements, keep tails wagging, and make our site easier to use. We never sell it, trade it, or use it to creep on you across the internet.
  2. What we pick up
    A. You give us: name, shipping address, email, phone, pet’s name (because it’s cute), credit-card digits (processed by Shopify Pay & PayPal— we never store the full number), and any notes you leave in “special instructions.”
    B. Your device gives us: IP address, browser type, pages you clicked, and if you came from Instagram or a Google ad. We use cookies (see Section 5) but we anonymize the techy stuff.
  3. Why we use it
  • Get your order from our door to yours.
  • Email you tracking, refill reminders, or the occasional 15 % off code.
  • Fix problems fast if a chew arrives crushed.
  • Spot site glitches and see which flavor page everyone’s obsessed with.
  1. Who sees it
  • Shopify, ShipStation, Klaviyo, and the postal carrier— that’s it.
  • If we ever run a contest with another pet brand, we’ll shout “third-party alert” loud and clear and ask for your okay first.
  1. Cookies (the non-edible kind)
    We drop four types:
  • Strictly Necessary – so the cart doesn’t forget your goodies.
  • Functional – remembers if you hate pop-ups.
  • Analytics – tells us stuff like “120 golden-retriever parents hit the salmon oil page today.”
  • Advertising – lets us stop showing cat ads to dog people.
    You can nuke cookies in your browser settings, but the site might get cranky.
  1. California & friends
    If you live in CA, CO, CT, or any state with fancy privacy laws, you can:
  • See what we’ve collected.
  • Ask us to delete it (unless we need it to finish your order).
  • Say “don’t sell my info”— don’t worry, we don’t sell anyway.
    Email support@petdawnwellness.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject and we’ll verify & handle within 45 days.
  1. Kids
    Our site is for humans 18 +. If you’re under 18, grab a grown-up before ordering. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
  2. Security
    We lock your info behind SSL encryption and the same PCI-compliant servers the big-box pet stores use. Still, no site is 100 % breach-proof, so we keep an eagle-eye on things.
  3. Changes
    If we tweak this policy, we’ll post the new date up top and shoot a quick email summary to anyone who’s ordered in the past year.
